I fell in love with fitness when I had a huge transformation of my own. Growing up my focus was never really health. I didn’t play sports and it’s safe to say that phys-ed was pretty much my most despised class. That mentality carried on into my twenties. I found myself overweight, sluggish and extremely stressed.

The greatest thing about life is, it’s never too late to set a new goal for yourself, to reinvent yourself, to do whatever it is that’s going to make you happy. For me, getting my health sorted out was top priority.

I set a goal for myself, joined a gym, changed my eating habits and dropped 60 pounds. I gained a ton of energy and lowered my stress levels. My new goal was to maintain that weight and work on my strength and endurance. Getting stronger and stronger every week really kept me going. Along the way, I fell head over heals with fitness. When you find something that truly inspires you, it drives you to push yourself harder and harder. I knew that sharing what I learned was something that I had to do, which lead me to my next goal; becoming a Certified Personal Trainer.

I now love passing on my enthusiasm for fitness to my clients.  I love taking their goals and making them my own. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone achieve what they’ve set out to do.

I now also teach group fitness classes at Elle Fitness and Social - Come by and kill some calories with me.
